38336 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: Since 27 November 2023, what is the total sum, if any, spent on wages for any contractors and consultants who have been previously employed in a different capacity at any ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible, broken down by month, as at 4 August 2025?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC.
I am advised that as of 30 June 2024, information relating to the number of consultants or contractors previously employed by DPMC is set out in Question 71 in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and National Emergency Management 2023/24 Annual Review, which is available on the following website:
