38324 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Since 27 November 2023, what is the total sum, if any, spent on wages for any contractors and consultants who have been previously employed in a different capacity at any ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible, broken down by month, as at 4 August 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) does not centrally collate information on the number of contractors or consultants who were previously employed permanently within MSD. Due to limitations of the information held in MSD’s HR System (myHR) on contractors and consultants, MSD is unable to identify the number of consultants, contractors, or people providing professional services who were previously employed by MSD.
