38317 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Police: Since 27 November 2023, how many staff, if any, at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many, if any have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same ministry, agency or department, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part time) as at 4 August 2025?
Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table which shows a combined total of 171 redundancies, including voluntary redundancies, between 27 November 2023 and 4 August 2025. In regard to the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), since 27 November 2023, four roles (representing four FTE staff) have been made redundant at the SFO. The final decision on these roles was made on 1 October 2024. As at 4 August 2025, no staff made redundant at the SFO have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the SFO. No voluntary redundancy processes have been undertaken at the SFO since November 2023.
