38308 (2024). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: What steps, if any, will be taken to reduce the wage disparity for nurses who must seek employment outside of Te Whatu Ora – Health NZ due to a shortage of vacancies compared to available nurses?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised Health New Zealand does not have control over other employers’ remuneration offers; however, an uplift in funding has been provided to those employers, which could be passed on to staff.
