38305 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Has the Minister asked for, or received, advice from officials about ownership and profit-models for a confirmation of payee system in New Zealand, and if yes, will he release this advice publicly?

Hon Andrew Bayly: No. As set out in my open letter, the development of a confirmation of payee system is being progressed by the banking sector.
