Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: Since 27 November 2023, how many staff, if any, at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many, if any have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same ministry, agency or department, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part time) as at 4 August 2025?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, 63 staff have been made redundant. None of these were by voluntary redundancy. I refer the Member to table 1, attached. Of these staff, 1 has subsequently been appointed to a new permanent role as at 4 August 2025.
