Camilla Belich to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Since 27 November 2023, how many staff, if any, at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many, if any have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same ministry, agency or department, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part time) as at 4 August 2025?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, 2 staff members have been made redundant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a result of change processes. None of these staff members have been subsequently employed or procured as a contract resource at the Ministry.
