Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Environment: Since 27 November 2023, what is the total sum, if any, spent on wages for any contractors and consultants who have been previously employed in a different capacity at any ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible, broken down by month, as at 4 August 2025?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by the Ministry for the Environment that since 27 November 2023, the total sum is $476,384. I refer the member to the attached document that provides monthly breakdowns over this time period. The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has not engaged any staff as contractors or consultants that have previously held positions at the EPA.
