Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 on the action ‘Retention initiatives’ under ‘Goal 2: Developing recruitment and retention strategies’ within the BreastScreen Aotearoa Workforce Development Strategy 2022 – 2032?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to investigate pathways on retention and recruitment that align with the Health Workforce Plan 2023/24, and to build on the Plan as it pertains to the BreastScreen Aotearoa Review Action Plan and Workforce Development Strategy.
