38130 (2024). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Auckland: Further to his reply to written question 4215 (2024), what is the current status of the 4.5 FTE MBIE staff allocated to support the Auckland portfolio whose funding is set to expire June 30th, 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: The previous government only provided funding for the 4.5 FTEs until 30 June 2024, without a clear funding path from that date. Support for the Auckland portfolio from 1 July 2024 will come from existing resources within MBIE’s baselines.
