Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that in cases where a tenant has been required to move to an alternative property because of a redevelopment, reasonable moving costs are paid. This is recorded on individual tenancy files. It is not possible to provide this information without diverting a significant amount of staff resources from their core duties. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest.
