38068 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What impacts, if any, has Kāinga Ora identified on local infrastructure delivery - including roads, water, stormwater, schools, or parks - due to delays or reprioritisation at Hobsonville Point, Northcote, Roskill, Oranga, Māngere, Tāmaki, Lakeside, and Te Rā Nui, broken down by urban development large-scale project?
Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that infrastructure projects that were planned to support the delivery of Wesley West (Roskill) and Otaki o te Wai (Mangere) have not proceeded, in response to the decision to pause these projects. The infrastructure projects (and impacts) relate to pausing the enablement of 637 homes at Wesley West and 398 homes in Otaki o Te Wai. No other impacts due to reprioritisation have been identified in other developments.
