38066 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What private sector delivery partnerships, if any, have been amended, withdrawn from, or renegotiated at Hobsonville Point, Northcote, Roskill, Oranga, Māngere, Tāmaki, Lakeside, and Te Rā Nui since Kāinga Ora’s 2024-2025 financial reset, broken down by urban development large-scale project?
Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that since the announcement of the Turnaround Plan, the following has occurred: • Development Agreement with a build partner in Roskill South neighbourhood was renegotiated to return two superlots and retain two for delivery • Development Agreement in Mangere (Te Ararata A neighbourhood) was cancelled and two superlots were returned to Kāinga Ora for sale • Development Agreement In the Aorere neighbourhood was renegotiated to hand back one superlot and continue to deliver one superlot. Since the Turnaround Plan announcement, Kāinga Ora has also continued to roll out changes to its civil design and construction contracting model for the Auckland Large Scale Projects, namely the wind down of the LEAD Alliance.
