38055 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service
Written Question
Published date: 14 Aug 2025
38055 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service: What is the specific date by which the PSC expects to publish the most recent chief executive remuneration disclosure period, given that the PSC notes it updates at least every six months, and why has this update not yet appeared on its website, given that more than six months have passed since the last published disclosure in November 2024?
Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that the scheduled release date and content for the Chief Executive Remuneration disclosure has not changed, nor has it been delayed.
The next date for publishing the Remuneration disclosure for Crown Entity and Public Service Department Chief Executives is scheduled for 9 October 2025.
I refer the Member to the publicly available information found on the Public Service Commission website at the following link: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/data/data-releases-calendar
The Public Service Commission updates the disclosure report twice a year, and the Chief Executive Remuneration webpage (including annual statistics) once a year.
As indicated on the Public Service Commission website, the most recent update for the Chief Executive Remuneration (including annual statistics) webpage was on 1 November 2024. However, the Public Sector Chief Executive Remuneration disclosure report embedded within this has been updated since then on 27 March 2025, for Chief Executives with remuneration periods ending up to December 2024.
