38043 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What did the Gateway Review Report for the National Ticketing Solution, Review 4 Readiness for Service, dated 11 October 2024, conclude about the programme's readiness to commence service, and on what date, if at all, was that report provided to the Minister of Transport?

Hon Chris Bishop: It found the programme is well governed, led and resourced, has stood up the initial Transport, Ticketing and Payments team and is poised for the first delivery of functionality in December 2024, followed by a staged rollout in Canterbury in the first half of 2025. While a copy of the review was not provided, briefings provided in December 2024 and February 2025 included advice on the October 2024 Gateway Review.
