Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA advises me that multiple independent audits will be performed by independent experts, external auditors, and internal assurance teams to ensure strong governance, value for money, safety, and public accountability throughout the project lifecycle as well as assurance activities for large projects. Auditing is carried out monthly.
