38030 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How many NZTA investments currently hold a moderated Risk Profile Assessment rating of high, and how many of those, if any, have not yet had a Gateway review?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that of the 30 NZTA investments or activities identified with a Risk Profile Assessment of high, 13 have had Gateway Review processes undertaken. Stage Gate Reviews are undertaken at agreed decision points throughout a project's lifecycle and are scheduled in consultation with Treasury. The remaining projects have not yet reached the relevant project milestone or decision point that would trigger a Stage Gate Review.
