38029 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the total value of public funds already committed to the Ōtaki to north of Levin highway as at 1 August 2025, broken down into: (a) land acquisition, (b) design and planning, (c) enabling works, and (d) contracted construction costs?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that the total value of public funds committed to the Ōtaki to north of Levin highway (Ō2NL) as at 1 August 2025 is $446 million. This includes: a. Land acquisition - $210 million b. Design and planning - $90 million c. Enabling works - $3 million d. Contracted construction costs - $0
