Dr Tracey McLellan to the Associate Minister of Health: Further to response 37221 (2024) Can the Minister confirm that she has not received any advice, reports, briefings, aides memoire, or any other documents relating to older persons health including Aged Residential Care and Dementia other than that proactively released on the Ministry of Health, Health New Zealand, and Māori Health Authority websites?

Hon Casey Costello: Yes. For clarity, I note that my response to Written Question 37221 (2024) stated that titles of advice I receive are proactively released. I also note that I am regularly briefed on older persons’ health, including aged residential care and dementia, during meetings with Ministry of Health and Health New Zealand officials.
