Hon Louise Upston: Since the March 2024 quarter there has been an increase in part-time workers as some employers reduce workers hours in response to tough economic conditions. Historically, as the economy recovers employers will increase workers hours again. This will likely result in a decrease in the proportion of part-time workers over the next year as economic conditions improve.
