38015 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: Has he received any advice from officials or stakeholders about the potential impact of potential changes to export meat inspection services on international markets, and if so, what was the title and date of that advice?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: To date, I have not received specific advice from the Ministry for Primary Industries on this matter. I received a letter from the PSA on 30 June 2025, which outlined their position on changes to the red meat regulatory inspection and supervision services.
