Hon Simeon Brown: The Ministry of Transport prepared an interim Regulatory Impact Analysis to inform Cabinet’s decision to consult on the draft Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2024. The Ministry advised that it is difficult to accurately model the impact of the draft Rule on deaths and serious injuries.
