38007 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: What analysis, if any, has been undertaken of the potential cost savings or efficiencies from transferring export meat inspection services to meat processing companies?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: To date, I have not received any specific analysis on the matter as this is an operational matter for the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) to address.
