38003 (2026). Lan Pham to the Prime Minister: Did any Ministers recuse themselves from cabinet consideration or declare a conflict or interest in relation to decisions taken over amendment papers to the Natural Environment Bill and Planning Bill?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Disclosures of information relating to Ministerial conflicts of interest are inherently confidential and not generally disclosed. This has been the approach of successive administrations, and I do not intend to depart from it. In order to maintain the confidentiality of Cabinet proceedings, it is not in the public interest to provide details of the discussions at Cabinet.
