37993 (2024). Glen Bennett to the Minister for Economic Development: What advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister or any member of their Office received regarding the use of consultants and contractors, by title and date since 27 November 2023?

Hon Melissa Lee: I have not received any advice, briefings, or other documents specifically regarding the use of contractors and consultants; however, I am being regularly updated on the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s change processes, part of which includes consultant and contractor information. I am aware that since December 2023, MBIE has converted 72.7 FTE contractors and consultants into permanent or fixed term positions to achieve fiscal savings.
