37935 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Further to the reply to written question 37231 (2026), will he correct or amend that reply if the review identifies any instance of non-compliance with the Government Procurement Rules?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: This is a nonsense hypothetical question. We have been assured by the Ferry Holdings board that Ferry Holdings has followed the Government Procurement Rules including taking decisions for exemptions where a fair basis has been established, as noted in the reply to WPQ 37934 (2026)..
