Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: Further to the reply to written question 37239 (2026), does Ferry Holdings Ltd's risk register record a risk relating to procurement compliance; if so, on what date was it first recorded and at what rating; if he does not hold this information, will he request it from Ferry Holdings Ltd, and if not, why not?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: We do not hold the Ferry Holdings risk register as maintaining the risk register is an operational matter for the board. Our role is to provide the strategic expectations of the company for which the board must discharge, and the primary function of the company is that Ferry Holdings delivers our approved scope of work and that the taxpayer share does not exceed $1.704 billion.
