37870 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Associate Minister of Health: Is she concerned that there is substantial variation in the hours and levels of care being received in the home across the country and, if so, what, if anything, is she doing to address that issue?

Hon Casey Costello: Health New Zealand is undertaking an Aged Care Funding and Service Models Review that aims to over time, improve the sustainability of aged care services and ensure equity of access and outcomes across New Zealand. These are goals I’m sure all New Zealanders would believe we should aspire to.
