Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that in May 2024, there have been nine occurrences with offences where a firearm is discharged, where a current validated patched or prospect gang member on the National Gang List has been identified as an offender or as a suspect, or has been recorded as a victim, as at 13 June 2024. Please note that gang information is snapshot data, and some of these individuals may not have been gang members at the time of the offence, and conversely, there may have been people who were gang members at the time of the offence but are no longer recorded as gang members.
