Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 35162 (2026), what evidence, if any, is there which establishes trial login access to live reporting records occurring on 3 July 2026, or is 3 July 2026 merely the earliest date in which unauthorised access to live reporting records is possible rather than it actually occurring?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the reporting subsystem was not available for access by the sector prior to 3 July 2026. This was confirmed during the review in response to the data incident.
