37846 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What is the number of frontline officers broken down by region for May to date?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table which shows the number of active Constabulary staff as of 31 May 2024, by region. Constabulary figures include Authorised Officers and temporarily sworn staff, but not casuals, contractors, or staff on leave without pay/parental leave. All Constabulary are classified according to their position as ‘Front Line’, ‘Front Line Support’ and ‘Support’ (back office). This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 37848 (2024).
