37840 (2026). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: What actions or penalties, if any, may apply in cases of non-compliance under the changes announced to the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) Scheme?

Hon Erica Stanford: Cabinet has agreed to introduce a graduated compliance model to address minor, moderate and severe compliance breaches. This change will not come into effect until the second half of 2027, with further work underway to assess what actions or penalties will apply for non-compliance.
