37818 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Health: What, if any, are the longer term solutions around Kenepuru Hospital's staffing and financing the Minister is looking at?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the staffing and financing of Kenepuru Hospital are operational matters for Health New Zealand. I am further advised that the ongoing challenge of finding suitably qualified doctors relates to Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic; specifically the operation of the clinic between 10.00pm and 8.00am. Kenepuru Hospital is not impacted by this issue.
