37808 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister for the South Island: Following Reply 36370 (2026), does the Minister also consider it shows the importance of reducing farming intensity to reduce pollution at its source?

Hon James Meager: No. You can increase farming intensity and reduce nitrate levels. The two are not mutually exclusive.
