37755 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: What operation support will be reduced, if any, as a result of the 178 roles proposed to be disestablished across the Ministry of Justice?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Ministry of Justice has started the processes of consulting staff on proposals for change. No decisions will be made until the Ministry has carefully considered all feedback. Decisions are expected to be announced in August. The Ministry is not able to confirm impacts on staff or specific functions, until after decisions have been made.
