37609 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 on the proposed action ‘as part of the acute flow framework, outline minimum expectations and develop a kite of resources to support great whanau experience across the acute care journey. This includes consideration of the Manaaki Mana Strategy’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 1: Implementing national frameworks, guidelines and terminology’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter the following progress was made: - the development of the minimum acute flow standards commenced. - commenced a stocktake of recommended equity frameworks to drive equity approaches across acute flow improvement activity. - learning from regions and district who are implementing pro-equity initiatives in acute flow and emergency departments to identify options for scaling more broadly.
