37607 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 on the proposed action ‘Develop and implement the HSS response to the 2023 Winter review recommendations’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 1: Implementing national frameworks, guidelines and terminology’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the System Pressures Plan 2024 was developed and was based on the evaluation and recommendations of the 2023 plan. I am further advised the 2024 plan includes a suite of initiatives from Prevention, Community Care and Emergency Department and Hospital. Hospital and Specialist Service initiatives are focussed on hospital flow improvement activities and workforce.
