Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) between 28 July – 1 August 2025. • Operational Recovery Weekly Status Report Upper South Island Severe Weather Event 2025, 31 July 2025 • Chief Executive Investment Management and Asset Performance Attestation Statement, 31 July 2025. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
