37534 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last three months to 10 June 2024 to add 50 new medical school places, to grow our domestic training pipelines?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that 50 additional medical school places were allocated across the University of Auckland and University of Otago and are in place for the 2024 academic year. Budget 24 also added 25 places.
