Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last three months to 10 June 2024 to recommission our staff support services (EAP) to ensure they cover our staff’s physical, psychological and cultural wellbeing, as outlined in Te Whatu Ora's health workforce plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand are now in negotiations with the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) services provider to consolidate a Statement of Work for all hospitals.
