Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last three months to 10 June 2024 to grow our existing investments in Māori leadership programmes, to support by-Māori for-Māori leadership pathways, as outlined in Te Whatu Ora's health workforce plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised in the three months to 10 June 2024, no specific actions have been taken in this area. I am also advised that Health New Zealand has commenced work on the next iteration of the Health Workforce Plan 2024-27, which will contain a review of delivery against all actions to 30 June 2024.
