37497 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, has Te Whatu Ora taken in the last three months to 10 June 2024 to improve pay and conditions for pharmacists?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that pharmacists received a pay increase through finalising the collective agreement with the Public Service Association in late 2023. This provided an increase to salaries as of 4 September 2023 and a further increase of 3% to be paid as of September 2024. The APEX collective agreement in May 2024 also provides the same increases to salaries as of December 2023 and December 2024 respectively.
