Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: Does he agree with Corrections nurse and NZNO delegate Michael Pye about the removal of Te Tiriti provisions from the Corrections Amendment bill that "the removal of Provisions in the Corrections Amendment Bill would have an extremely detrimental impact on equitable rehabilitation and health outcomes for Māori in the Corrections system”, if not, why not?

Hon Mark Mitchell: No treaty provisions have been removed from existing legislation.
