37391 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: How many Reading Recovery Teachers, if any, only teach Reading Recovery?

Hon Erica Stanford: Reading Recovery teachers are employed by school boards, and the Ministry of Education does not collect specific data about whether they teach only Reading Recovery (RR). Information that many RR teachers are also classroom teachers is based on the Ministry’s engagement with the sector. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 37392 (2024).
