37364 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: Which Health New Zealand districts or regions currently make an Easy Read complaints or feedback form available, and in what locations or services within each district or region is it available?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that in Lakes District (Taupō & Rotorua Hospitals), Easy Read complaints or feedback forms are available on all wards. I am further advised that the Mental Health, Addictions & Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS), which operates in Kenepuru, Wellington Regional, Hutt, and Wairarapa hospitals, and the Intellectual Disability Service in Keneperu, Wellington Regional and Hutt Hospitals provide Easy Read complaints forms and information brochures. I am further advised that all staff within Kenepuru, Wellington Regional, and Hutt hospitals can access Easy Read complaint forms via MHAIDS electronic forms library.
