37348 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: When did the Minister of Justice invite coalition partner parties to nominate candidates for the three Human Rights Commission leadership roles filled in August 2024, and which parties, if any, put forward nominations, and for which roles?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The invitation to the coalition parties to submit nominations for three positions on the Human Rights Commission was sent out on 18 December 2023. One nomination for the Chief Human Rights Commissioner position was subsequently received from the Act Party.
