Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2025 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand (including Tourism New Zealand's subsidiary company Qualmark) had a headcount of 162 and one union members on 1 July 2025.
