37289 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Have Kāinga Ora staff advised tenants at risk of eviction that it would be better for them to give 21-days notice to end their tenancy and if so, why?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that this practice is not within policy and Kāinga Ora has clear guidance and expectations on the process that is to be followed if a tenant is at risk of eviction as described in response to Written Parliamentary Question 37288. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 37290 and 37291.
