Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2023 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Tama Potaka: This question relates to a period before the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri consulted Ministry of Justice as it does not hold this information. The Ministry of Justice reply is Te Arawhiti is incorporated in the answer by my colleague the Minister of Justice to the same question.
