Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: How many staff, if any, in headcount terms did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, have on 1 July 2022 and how many of these staff, if any, were union members?

Hon Chris Bishop: At 30 June 2022, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development had a headcount of 324 employees, of which 31% were union members. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that as at 30 June 2022, it had 3,172 members of staff and 895 of those were union members.
